Architectural design and master building company Keyturn Projects was created in 2000, offering a combination of services to Sydney residents and investors.

Registered architect and master builder Michael Franck is the principal and supervisor of Keyturn Projects, which is centrally based in metropolitan Sydney.

Keyturn operates mainly in the domestic sector on alteration and addition projects ranging from $100,000 to $2,000,000. Client properties range from Cremorne and North Sydney, to Elizabeth Bay, Randwick , Bellevue Hill and the inner west.

Commercial properties included in Keyturn’s portfolio are mainly shop front reconstruction, extensions and fit outs. The most easily accessible is the famous Cooee Gallery at Bondi Beach.

Michael Franck holds a Bachelor of Architecture from Sydney University, a Master Engineering Sc (Traffic) and is a qualified supervisor (Licence No 22100S)

He has designed/built residential, commercial and government properties for 36 years, both as a contractor and self employed. Contract dispute resolutions and building forensics are specialities.

Senior early projects include a multi million luxury apartment complex in Darling Point ( Rinlont Pty Ltd); a $50 million office warehouse at North Ryde for AMP and Canon Australia, project design management for the Pumphouse Brewery in Darling Harbour; design management for the $65million Harbourside Markets; the $15million northern car park and a $17million Pyrmont Bridge restoration for Leighton.

Airport design was an early speciality in Franck’s career. He lived in Toronto for 5 years working as principal design architect for Toronto, Rome and Rio de Janiero airports for Parkin Architects before returning to Australia to work with the then NSW Planning and Environment Commission in airport planning and transportation.
